Doing a Research Project with Oxygen Concentrator OCS 3F

Oxygen Concentrator How It Works ?

  • Setiap saringan zeolit didepresurisasi, maka N2 dilepaskan.

  • Oxygen Concentrator is a tool to collect and concentrate oxygen from the surrounding air.
  • Utilizing a process, namely Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), which allows the oxygen concentrator to produce oxygen up to 95.5%.
  • The initial process is that the ambient air (atmospheric) containing impurity particles is filtered before entering through the compressor.
  • Pressurized air is flowed through a cooling system (heat exchanger) to reduce the temperature before entering the filter containing zeolite, zeolite is a material that specifically absorbs nitrogen gas (N2) at high pressure.
  • Each zeolite filter is depressurized, then N2 is released. The valve opens to flow concentrated oxygen into the reservoir where oxygen accumulates. then passed on to a flowmeter for a measured and sustained release of oxygen to the patient at a certain flow rate.

To measure oxygen concentration there are many choices of sensors that can be used, including OCS 3F, GS KE-25, GS KE-50 and so on. In this article, we use the OCS 3F sensor to detect oxygen in free air that is purified with an oxygen concentrator. The following Arduino code is implemented in the line code below.

Here The Schematic Below:

  1. Really helpful to have the code example for me. The sensor I'm using doesn't have flow rate calculation but I was able to utilize the code as is. Thank you for your article.
